We can determine whether you’re eligible to deduct your MBA tuition both on a current return as well as on a return you’ve already filed. If we determine that you can make the deduction, we can prepare and file the return to include that deduction. Our filing fee for a full return is $599 and for an amendment it is $799, but your incremental refund for the MBA deduction could be much more.
We cannot predict or guarantee that the IRS or state tax authority will accept the deduction. But if they don’t accept the deduction, we’ll refund you the fees you paid us for the filing. Even if the IRS grants the deduction, but the resulting refund is less than the fees you paid us, we’ll refund 100% of our fees.
In other words, we guarantee that we’ll only keep your fees if they are less than your incremental refund from that MBA deduction.
We are not required to provide this refund if you have given us inaccurate information during your tax return preparation or filing, if you have not shared any IRS correspondence within 21 days of receiving it. Refunds are not available until both we as well as all relevant tax authorities have closed their cases for the return we prepared and filed on your behalf. If your refund is held by the IRS or state tax authorities for past-due tax or for any other reason, this refund policy does not apply.
We provide unlimited and year-round support to help you understand and respond to any future correspondence from the IRS and state tax authorities regarding the return(s) we filed for you.
In order to provide this support, we require that you send us a copy of any correspondence from the IRS or state tax authority within twenty-one (21) days of the letter date. If you contact us more than twenty-one (21) days after the letter date, we are not obligated to provide this support and may charge an additional fee due to the added complexity resulting in the delayed response to the IRS or relevant state tax authority. We are not required to provide this support if you have given us any inaccurate information during your tax return preparation or filing.
In-person audit representation is not included. Visor does not provide legal advice.
If you pay an IRS or state penalty or interest because of an error by Visor in preparing your return that you would otherwise not have been required to pay, we’ll reimburse you to the extent we’re at fault, up to a maximum of $10,000
In order to receive this reimbursement, you must notify us in writing within twenty-one (21) days after receiving or sending a correspondence from the relevant taxing authority regarding the penalty or interest, including complete documentation of the penalty and interest related to that correspondence, proof of any payment of the penalty or interest, and any other relevant information we reasonably request. You must also take all actions we reasonably request to abate or limit further penalties and interest from accruing, and have paid all applicable fees to us for the relevant tax filing and be in full compliance with our Terms of Service.
Additional Terms and Conditions apply and govern.
